Choose the Correct Garfield Office

Garfield County custody, transport, court, and police records belong to different offices. GCCJA runs daily detention operations. The Sheriff's Office handles law enforcement and transport duties, while the Court Clerk preserves district-court cases. Enid Police keeps its own police material. Use the contact that matches the record sought.

Garfield County Jail and GCCJA

1020 South 10th Street
Enid, OK 73701
Office: 580-548-2429
Fax: 580-548-2469

Use GCCJA for the detention facility's booking, custody-exit, discharge, transfer, and jail-created photograph records. No separate public records-unit hours were found, so call before visiting.

Garfield County Sheriff's Office

216 West Oxford Avenue
Enid, OK 73701
Non-emergency: 580-237-0244
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The sheriff no longer directs daily jail operations. Contact this office for sheriff-created law-enforcement or transport records rather than assuming it holds the GCCJA release transaction.

Garfield County Court Clerk

114 West Broadway Avenue
Enid, OK 73701
Phone: 580-237-0232
Email: garfieldrequests@oscn.net
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; open at lunch; closed on holidays

Use the clerk for district-court dockets, dispositions, filed bond action, judgments, sentences, and copies of court orders. A court order does not certify the moment jail staff completed release.

Enid Police records concern material created by that department. They do not replace the GCCJA jail booking photograph or release record.

For other needs, begin with the route that matches the person's custody class or the record type:

  • For a released person or an actual jail discharge record, use the Garfield County search and records process, then direct the official request to GCCJA.
  • For post-release supervision, consult Garfield County parole and probation and the ODOC Enid office listed there.
  • For a same-day roster comparison, review the 24-Hour Release List explanation. Garfield County has no verified official recent-release feed.
  • For sentence timing or notification, use the projected release date resource or the VINELink check.
  • For facility operations, use the Garfield County Detention Facility page and verify current procedures with GCCJA.
  • For a sentenced Oklahoma prisoner, use OK Offender Lookup and the ODOC Legal Services open-record route. Public access to release-date information may be limited.
  • For federal custody or immigration detention, use the Bureau of Prisons locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System. County offices cannot correct those federal records.
